This guy was loose and aggressive. I called the flop to see what he would do on the turn because he would back down sometimes when called. When he bet the turn I realized I didn't want to play a huge pot with 2.5x stacks. Weak on my part?

This is hard against an opp you know is playing a lagg style postflop. But generally calling opps flopraise and folding to a turn bet with TPTK is OK.
Btw, his flopraise is massive, smells like a bluff, but cant say that without a read.

Seems ok, I wouldn't want to play a 500xbb pot with TPTK without the sickest of reads.

Heh, I was just gonna say this. If villian is a good tough lag, then you are definitely going to be put to very difficult decisions on latter streets. He will fire the 2nd barrell a lot of the time here, esp with you guys so deep, and if you are not willing to take a stand, just fold to flop cr.
Also consider checking this flop.

your flop call is odd because you won't improve unless another A or K comes, and they might even be dead outs if he has a set. why call? gonna be a pretty difficult hand to win down the road by calling there, even if you are ahead. you really want to lead out that turn? another check/call or a check/raise would be incorrect. fold flop instead.
