Very early in my session. Villian has floated me (I think) previously. Trying to c/bomb the turn.

Ultimate Bet No-Limit Hold'em, $.25 BB (4 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

BB ($34.21)
UTG ($4.05)
Button ($27.36)
Hero ($28.28)

Preflop: Hero is SB with A, Q.
1 fold, Button calls $0.25, Hero raises to $1.1, BB calls $0.85, Button folds.

Flop: ($2.45) Q, A, 9 (2 players)
Hero bets $2, BB calls $2.

Turn: ($6.45) 7 (2 players)
Hero checks, BB checks.

River: ($6.45) K (2 players)
Hero should do what?

How bad is a c/c here? Cuz I think that's what I'd do about 80% of the time.

If you put him on a FD a c/c is good. I think he usually has a weak ace here though.

If he wasnt betting turn I doubt he bets the river. I would stop doing fancy plays and strictly bet for value as he's calling with worse hands on the turn than he'll call the check raise with. If you bet the turn I'd check/call the river otherwise you have to lead this river to salvage some value.

Don't try moves like this unless you know he will float you, otherwise you're just giving away cards. Or if he raises you on the flop you can do this.

Plus not checking the turn looks like you're doublebarrelling him if he's the thinking type.

Call, you showed weakness on both the turn and river, so now would be a normal time for him to bluff a missed FD.

In this case, I think you have to bet turn as villain easily could have been OESD or flush draw on flop. Many 25NL players will call a wide range of raises when in the BB, easily could be J10o or sc's. I bet 5 on Turn and hope to take it down right there.

I rarely see overbets like this as bluffs at 25NL so I fold. I think villain has a straight and would like you to pay off the free card gifted

remember when we check 2p at any street we are often the donk getting stacked

Check-raise cuz if he has 2 pair he "won't believe you".

We might get stacked this way but oh well.
when the vpip's are high and the value bets are like razors, who can be safe?
