Only have like 40 hands on villain, running at 40/18/1.1 over that small sample

With all the talk of folding, I just wanted to make sure that with no reads, this is a standard fold.

I was going to check through the turn, but I decided to bet for value (in retrospect, this bet was super weak and probably should have made it 15ish, though not sure that would have changed anything)

Cryptologic
No Limit Holdem Ring game
Blinds: $0.50/$1
5 players
Converter

Stack sizes:
UTG: $87.75
CO: $187.50
Hero: $104.75
SB: $68.50
BB: $102.75

Pre-flop: (5 players) Hero is Button with
UTG folds, CO calls, Hero raises to $4, 2 folds, CO calls.

Flop: ($9.5, 2 players)
CO checks, Hero bets $6.75, CO calls.

Turn: ($23, 2 players)
CO checks, Hero bets $11, CO raises to $22, Hero calls.

River: ($67, 2 players)
CO is all-in $154.75, Hero folds.

Yah I was just making sure that this was standard. I feel that my weak turn bet could have induced some kind of heavy bluff action. In the long run, what is the best turn play here against an unknown? Bet or check?

If villain makes a weaker bet on the river (ie: not putting me all in), what pot odds (if any) do most need to make that call?

And yes, I agree with Iowa, that this is obvious. Though, I am sure there is still a max limit to which we are committed by pot odds to call on this river?

I will call most river bets other than a push. I'm also betting this turn almost 2x as much.

Wow, so you're all betting almost the pot on this turn?

Isn't such a big turn bet (when the flush comes out) only going to get called by better hands, and fold all marginal hands?

How bad is a check through here, vs the 'bet almost pot' line that most of you seem to agree with? This is a big leak of mine, I think im checking through far too many scare turn cards in position.

You want to build this pot (you have a SET!) so you can get it all in when you boat up on the river. Also there's no reason to be that scared of a flush, and yes he can call a turn bet with lots of hands that you are way ahead of.
I like a bet of 10$ on flop, 26$ on turn and depending on river bet size would change.

But sadly yes river is easy fold.
Family Cruise IMO
