My pocket cards: A5o
let's say there isn't raises preflop. Which of these flop are the best for me (no flushes - suits does not matter) and why?
1) 2 3 5 (high pair, high kicker, large posibilites of overcards)
2) 2 5 T (middle pair, high kicker, overcards posibilities)
3) 5 8 T (bottom pair, high kicker)
4) 2 T A (high pair, low kicker, no ovrecards)

Same scenario for K9o
1) 2 3 9 (high pair, high kicker, large posibilites of overcards)
2) 2 3 K (high pair, medium kicker, small posibilites of overcards)
3) 2 9 T (middle pair, high kicker, overcards posibilities)
4) 2 K A (middle pair, medium kicker, no overcards)
5) 9 T Q (bottom pair, high kicker)

I know when I go all-in A5o is better than K9o, but what is better when I don't go all-in. I think it is K9. Does that mean that I should raise whit K9 like Ax.

I play sng tournaments in Everest poker (6 players). First several times when I made to head up (4 players gone) , I didn't raise preflop except what pairs when i go all-in if short-stacked, didn't play aggressive and didn't bluff much, just check and check-raise, wait for opponent to make mistake. Half of that time I win 1st, half 2nd (1st win 70%, 2nd 30%).
Than i read that in head up I sould play aggresive, and often raise preflop ,but almost always finish 2nd ,when I bluff and opponent actualy have good hand.

When flop cames and i decided to bluff, I bet pot, he usualy call whether he have hand or not. After turn I bet pot again and if he dont have hand he fold but if he had he call and I lose almost everyting. If in turn I bet smaller amount, I usualy get reraised (very offten and he must bluff half the time), than I fold, but after several times he do it, I lose patient and go all in and always lose.

I star to play poker lately (les than month) and play sng $1 + $0.1 ,first won $4.2, second $1.8, so profit is $3.1/$0.7 , first won more than 4 times money.

Help me to be first not second, maybe I can't be aggresive, maybe is better to play like first times.

Thank you.

Flop 4 for question 1, and flop 2 for question 2. Top pair heads up is very valuable, regardless of kicker most of the time. Actually any pair heads up is very valuable since your opponent doesn't pair up more often than not. You should be more confident heads up with A5o than K9o, any ace is very valuable since a lot of pots are decided by high card. Kickers USUALLY don't matter in heads up, but if you aren't confident with your hand from the beginning lay it down... But don't be afraid to bet when you pair up.
