I think the BB has a set and the other one has a diamond draw? You are getting over 3:1 odds but I had a post like this earlier and I was told to fold if I figured I was beat although the odds were there. You could always call and hope to build a side pot with the other player and break even! Pros will chime in

This is really close but I feel like folding.

If you had the Ad I'd call.
when the vpip's are high and the value bets are like razors, who can be safe?

I shoved. I figured I was up against a flush draw, top pair, or a set from each player. If it was a draw or top pair I wanted to get my money in on the flop. If it was a set I wanted to fold. To be honest, I didn't see it as a call or fold situation. It seems like the hands I beat, I want to push all in right here. So I viewed it as a push or fold situation. Is that a really bad way to look at this sort of thing?

It's fine.

The problem is that UTG's line seems either very weak or very strong. Even when it's very weak (flushdraw-type hand) you're not a huge favourite. Obv we're not worried about shorty.

Just another one of those situations where, without reads, it doesn't really matter one way or another. After looking at it again I like the shove a little more. That's just such a huge cold-call by utg... It has me scared just reading the HH.

Yeah, raising to 2.50 would have been much better.

Here's how it turned out

Flop: 2c Td 6d ($10, 5 players)
SB checks, BB checks, UTG checks, MP checks, Hero bets $6, SB folds, BB raises all in to $17.95, UTG calls $17.95, MP folds, Hero raises all in to $54.85, UTG calls all in for $21.65
Uncalled bet of $15.25 returned to Hero

Hero shows [Ac Ah]
BB shows [As Jc] (nice)
UTG shows [6h 6s]

Turn: 2c Td 6d [3h] ($107.15, 3 players)
No action

River: 2c Td 6d 3h [Jh] ($107.15, 3 players)
No action

If the UTG had me covered, do you think a fold becomes more obvious? I would assume so.

It's not like the UTG player's really a shorty.

Even if you were 4738423708 BB's deep the problem would be the same : he's repping lots of strength with a passive line and you have a strong 1-pair hand.

I think it's almost impossible to put a non-retarded UTG on anything other than a set.. The limp just gives soo much away.
