He seemed like a good player, as he'd built a nice stack. My reads were that he was quite tight, not so aggressive. Do you call the river?

The random min bet on the turn worries me here, he could have easily spiked a set with 55. Since you have made a read that he is a tad passive, and he has come to life on the turn and consequently overbet the river, you have to think you are beat, so I fold here and respect his raising.

You have two pair in a short-handed limped pot, what else are you waiting for? Call it.

He check-raised the turn. A better question in my mind is why check the river? You have a pretty good hand, after a weird line that begs him to think you might be bluffing... throw out a blocking/value bet of $5 or so and hopefully he'll just call you, and you get a showdown at a modest price with the kind of hand that you really would like to show down cheap.
