i've been playing heads up a bit lately as its something i feel i have a lot to improve on but tend to feel im being constantly unlucky when this cant always be the case.
im tryin to give a loose image raising any connecting cards as dealer, hoping to annoy the opp at the right time when i have a premium hand and also hoping to promote an ace when one flops and i have the connecting cards instead. when the blinds start so small i was hoping the skill element would also be much higher but the amount of times i feel im getting done by someone catching a flop holding rubbish seems as high as ever. i'll try not to commit all my money with just a pair unless its top pr top kicker or overpair and overbet/push when flop 2pr a lot hoping to catch someone overvaluing top pr head up.
i think my main problem is when to continue bet after raising the flop and getting called. and also what to do when raised if i do bet.
i think im just after general advice for playing when the blinds are nice and small and the basic push any pair or picture card crap doesnt apply as ive never believed in it anyway. cheers

its more general heads up strategy for low blinds heads up am after mate than exact hands. just unsure of the correct balance of how loose to play so my 'proper' hands get paid off. i dont like the raising any picture card thing as i feel like im chasing 3 outs for a top pr with shit kicker and think am maybe playing too many connected cards that can catch the flop big but maybe get me into bother if i miss obv or if just catch one pair.

That is really too general. Why don't you post some hands just as examples? It would better illustrate your point.
