Villain is 29/24/2 and unremarkable over 40 hands. He 3bets 7% so far and I think he tries to play well.
Hero is running about 22/19 & 3betting 15% so probably looking kinda aggro TAG.

No-Limit Hold'em, $1.00 BB (5 handed) - Hold'em Manager Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

Hero (UTG) ($127.45)
MP ($132.55)
Button ($100)
SB ($151.50)
BB ($251.80)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with A, A
Hero bets $3, 1 fold, Button calls $3, 1 fold, BB calls $2

Flop: ($9.50) 3, 7, 8 (3 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $7, Button calls $7, 1 fold

Turn: ($23.50) Q (2 players)
Hero bets $17, Button calls $17

River: ($57.50) 4 (2 players)
Hero

I realize the turn is a b/f, but does that make the river a c/f?
Playing live . . . thanks alot Bin Laden.

Any sizing tips would be terrific. I feel b/f $30 on the river seems like I put a lot of my stack in to fold at this point.

Hmm... hes got $73 behind in a $57 pot. I can't stand to just c/f here though.

I think a committing number would be better than 1/2 pot here. Like 38-42 would probably be perfect for a b/f here. This way, you're betting enough so that hes never thinking he has FE, so he's never shoving over as a bluff. But at the same time, he'll call off with a lot of other stuff that we beat, and sometimes stuff that beats us.

Any timing tells on this Vil? For instance in this hand were they like insta calls? Or did he think about it for a min?

This actually makes the hand less interesting imo. Pretend there are no tells even if there were, and treat it as a wide range/ awkward stack size problem.

If the river is awkward with bet/stack sizes on a blank, it usually means something has gone wrong earlier in the hand. But it doesnt seem to have. B/f definitly looks good on the turn.

What worse hands call a river bet here? I find it hard to believe A8 is calling again. 9T/TJ isnt calling. 45 probably isnt. 56 got there. The flush got there. He has to 3bet TT+ preflop to get those stats. The only hands I see value from are if he decided to float with a Q, although given your read and his general looseness that doesnt seem tremendously unlikely. I want to block bet but given hes fairly aggro I think he could bluff raise a decent ammount with a missed straight draw, or maybe even turn a pair below Qs into a bluff. I guess I must have trouble with these spots too .
gabe: Ive dropped almost 100k in the past 35 days.

bigspenda73: But how much did you win?

Just bet 35 or something he's never gonna jam worse so you can pretty easily b/f.

Another thing I just realized is, are you opening 3x from all positions? I typically 4x from EP-HJ, then 3x the CO, and either 2-3x the BTN. If you had 4x'd PF, making the flop pot ~$11, so u can bet 9-10, making turn pot ~$30, letting u b/f for 20-22, setting up an ez river shove or something.

I think you played hand well to river, I would just c/fold at this point unless bet was smaller than 1/2 pot.
Family Cruise IMO

Actually I 4x UTG and 3x everywhere else. This particular hand was 5 handed though so I just 3x'd it.

And as for timing tells, I used to rep a general situation that I have trouble with(TT, AQ would play similar for me). I am not too concerned about this particular hand.
