Villian is: 38/4/over 26 hands

My image is fairly aggressive, Ive been opening for a raise the last 3/4 hands. The villian is a short stack and they have fairly wide pushing hands i feel. On reflection though he is pretty passive and unaggressive, and limping beforehand I think he expected me to raise and then he would have the chance to come overtop. What would you do/?

I'd say you're 50/50 about 50% of the time
Youre ahead 70/30 about 60% of the time
You're behind about 10% of the time.

And so it's a pretty easy call. We can argue about those percentages all day but I think they're pretty close. Adjust them as you see fit, but I think almost everyone will agree that you're flipping or ahead the vast majority of the time.

alright i feel a little better now. He threw down pocket kings.

So for future reference a short stacks push is pretty much auto call with anything you would open from UTG?

try putting ranges pokerstove and see how each range goes against another range. you'll learn a lot about hand ranges and equity.
