That sucks balls. He had AK or KK, did he? Did you have any read on the villain?

This would be pretty read-dependant for me. Against a nit you can fold that river pretty comfortably. Against a donk you might call. Against a standard player or an unknown... I dunno. There are a lot of warning signs. Low stakes players seldom 3-bet and then check the flop, that usually sends off a flare for me.

Also, before Fnord says it: "There's a separate forum for bad beats, you know."

No reads on opponent, this is my third hand at the table and hes not a player I've come across before. Looking at a micro stakes standard 3bet range I'm crushed, AA, KK, AK, AQ possibly. But meh, he was unknown so could have been some sort of donk.
