My Style: Loose-Aggressive
I have been trying to "perfect" (strong word, only one I could think of) my Loose-Aggressive game over the last several months, blugging many important holes that were leaking too much cash over my bad periods and just in general. Things like removing borderline decisions wherever possible to eliminate the negativity of gambling on uncertainties.
Another leak in my game was playing long sessions. I would make most if not all of my cash in the first 1-2 hours at the table, where im able to change the entire mood and manipulate the table. I found when playing long sessions 2h> opponents were starting to makes stands, whether it was cold calling pairs, coming over the top, or taking back some of the table in general.
If i plan on playing on a longer session i will usually leave a table when i feel i have lost any control that i owned earlier in the session. I will usually pack up and join another good table and start over.
These days i will play 1-2 hour sessions, maybe only once or twice a day. I have been doing this for maybe 1-1/2 months now and my profits seem to have rocketed, but not only that my losses have been minimal (combined with the plugging of other leaks in my game).
Questions/Thoughts:
1) Do you think playing shorter sessions for a Loose-Aggressive player is more profitable?
2) Do you think changing tables regulary for a Loose-Aggressive player is more profitable?
I play poker for around 3-4 hours a day full time right now, and my profits are higher then when i was playing 10h>.

laggs depend heavily on their image, and therefore generally seem to revel in marathon sessions (a la h@l)

Hey Renton/Massimo,
Massimo pretty much just stole my reply.
When i was playing on the Tribeca Network i was 3/4 tabling 3/6-5/10 SHNL. I become a well known aggressive player and my action was the same no matter how long i played. Maybe mid-higher stake players are more opponent aware?
Im now playing 1/2 SHNL on Party Poker, where the skill level is considerably lower and your opponents are less opponent aware.
This post wasn't really aimed at the higher/well known aggressor.

I'm loose aggressive, and time has no effect on my value.

It's not what's inside that counts. Have you seen what's inside?
Internal organs. And they're getting uglier by the minute.

I have only played at Party 1 week and made $3.5k+ playing $200 SHNL around 2400 hands.

i have found that I do better with 1-1.5 hr sessions also, but that has more to do with me losing focus after more than 1.5hrs than anything else.
