Wouldnt all your value hands just bet turn after he calls flop?

I would rather bet river when he checks, dont see why he would b/f for 50 more after he bets 30 on the river.

villain is 26/19/4.5 with 3bet 9.8%
i have some history with him and I know he's very capable of double and triple barreling (cbet turn 64%, cbet riv 70%)

this is why I played the hand this way, do you think this is optimal?

have I been running so bad for so long that I wasn't even remotely surprised when he shows QQQQ ?

villain (UTG) 20/15/2.2 (ep 15% raise)
with 4bet range 1.2%

I'm certain I'm well ahead of the $49 fish here, I figured if I flat here it REALLY looks like I have a huge hand like KK/AA which is why I didn't reraise, if I just shove he's going to snap QQ/KK/AA right, how would you play this? should I call his shove because if HE had a monster wouldn't he just flat as well to keep me in?

If you have some basic question that's fine but every page shouldn't have 20 HH's asking about semi-standard spots.

if we hit big on the river ie flush or JJJ do you lead or CR? being that opp is fishy I think leading river when we hit is best?

if he put me on a missed draw, wouldn't he just c/c ? you say my line is weak. i figure i have a good hand here, how am I supposed to make it seem a lot stronger? raising the turn is stupid imo, do I just bet near pot on the river because i'm really only getting paid by a weaker 9 ?

when i said ur line was weak i meant that you havent played your hand in a way that would suggest you have a strong hand.

as for the betsizing, i think a large river bet is as likely to get called by 66/88 as a smaller one given the board texture and your flop/turn line.

his turn bet looks strong, it does not look like he is putting out a bet to see whether it gets called or raised. because of that i'm not calling a river bet, and we only have a Q/9 as potential outs if we are WA/WB which i think we are most of the time. his bluff freq is going to be low in this spot so id fold.

i guess i have this issue with figuring that if my hand is stronger than opponents I want to make it cheap for them to call so i end up making a shitton of these 1/3 to 1/2 pot sized bets but I guess thinking players see that as strength rather than weakness a lot?

you said I could easily fold turn here with Q9 as well, is that because you figure he often has 2pr+ here ?

the most useful piece of bet sizing psychology i know is that weak and average players will play more straightforward and passive when you make large bets. when i have a medium strength hand (per ABCD theorem, Q9 is a "B" strength hand on this river), getting my opponent to play in this way is highly desirable.

22/33/55/A4/A9/K9 seems like a reasonable range for SB, i just don't see him value betting the turn like this with worse.
