looking for a SH NL teacher. Im sure most of you know me, but I'm looking to get my feet wet into the NL pond. I have a solid background in the limit arena, but the money is just so much better at NL that I'd like to give it a shot.

I have about a 7.5k bankroll, which would leave me rolled for about 1/2 NL.

Anyway, looking for someone (preferably with vent) whose up for ghosting me on some intro-sessions.

Anyone around?

Have you heard of cardrunners.com? It's a great site especially in regards to shorthanded NL cash games. I suggest you check out the site, and if you do sign up put me as your refferer =).

BooostedJ, a very good player who has quickly moved up in limits the past few months is supposedly offering private lessons, but I know he isn't doing it for free (not sure his price). If you want I can give you his contact info and you guys can set something up.

Most of Green Plastic's videos are really good, they've helped my shorthanded game a lot. The problem with CardRunners is thatmost of their other videos are crap, they just show someone basically folding every hand for 30 minutes. It's still definitely worth joining if you're new to NLHE or shorthanded play.

I like Muddwater's vids a lot, although sometimes he gets boring when he doesn't play a hand for a while, but he has good analysis and is a great player.

Im sure I can hold my own, probably better than most. Never a bad idea to have someone look over some things, though.

pfft. stop being a vagina. Pushing AA against 76o on a 7xx board and getting called is $$OWNAGE$$.

FWIW, you said you were playing like shit, but uh, I thought you were playing fine. The guy rivered his kicker. And? The only mistake you made was getting 5 outted

Ya it seems like GreenPlastic gets outplayed once or twice in every video he posts (did you see the party video where he got stacked by ilikeaces?). Supposedly GP taught Muddywater how to play, but I think Muddywater's a better player, from the videos I have watched.

I saw that video, was pretty funny. He had one hand on the full table where he raised preflop with 99, flop J9x, and he bets out, the next guy raises and then the next guy moves in over the top of both of them. GP moves in as well and the other guy folds. Turn 8 river 7 and he flips up JTo for the win. It was pretty sick lol. I remember the hand you were talking about, I believe GP reraised Ilikeaces with KQc and flopped two overs and a flush draw, but he was slowplayed by ilikeaces's KK and missed his outs.

I wouldn't say that muddy is a better player nessicarily, GP has owned the highest stake NL cash games on UB for a while now and stands alone in that regard, few match his consistency. Muddy is a great player as well, but he hasn't had the success at the highest limits that GP has had, so for that I give Taylor the nod.
