Why would opp bet this river if he would fold to a raise? Why would you think he is bluffing?
Check out the new blog!!!

Button thinks he can push Hero out of the pot on the river. He made his flush on the turn, and after Hero shows weakness, another bet on the river should push him out.

There are plenty of spots where I'll bet the river in position with the intention of folding to a raise. It's a standard play if you're making a thinnish value bet vs somebody you want to take to value town.

I don't think he is bluffing, I think he is value betting the Qd+ here. Sometimes I suppose he'll have a small flush/straight and turning his hand into a bluff much like I am.

I think it's better if the river doesn't pair the board.

I actually like it because the river pairs the board.

Forgot about this hand.

Results: Villain called with K 4.

I actually had quads and not 57, though. Ship it.
