Villain was a little loose but I didn't see him show down many hands and he wasn't an overly aggressive or tricky player. I only bet 1/2 pot on the flop because there's very little chance this flop could help anyone and there are no draws. I bet 1/2 pot often when there is an uncoordinated flop after my pfr and I'm confident I can outplay the opp. I've been the most aggressive player at the table. I should just call here right? I don't want to open the betting back up because calling another bet doesn't seem like a good move. This isn't some crazy hand or decision, but when you get called down when ahead and a draw completes or the board pairs and you face river raise what do you usually do?

Also, is Seat 5 (brbBBQ) an FTR member? There was joke a post in the community a couple months ago. I wonder if somebody here used the name.

hehe. He's folding to any reraise anyway. My read changed somewhat after that hand. I was going to say something to you, but:
a) Figured if you were FTR, you would be multitabling
b) I didn't want to give away that we (you) aren't total fish

You just signed up for Party recently? I find that hard to believe.

He would have folded this hand, but I think you are missing out on value here by not pushing, there are tons of hands that call a push in this spot that you beat, and very few that have you beat the way the hand was played.

If you go to the My Account page from Party you can change your screenname once every six months, I highly recommend this as it makes it harder for long term players to get reads on you.

When I looked back at the hand, I was fairly certain I should have reraised. They would have had to chase a gutshot and two pair is more likely. The reraise surprised me enough to just call.

I didn't know that about changing usernames - thanks. I might do that after a while at one level.

I think this may be an insant of counting to 10 before making a decision. Raise scares you and your instincts say call. As lamchop mentions, after analysis, you probably should have raised.
