This isn't my hand, I found this hand interesting though. I'm trying to think of villains hand but I'm having a hard time coming up with something we beat. It seems that 44 and 88 are unlikely because a decent player would c/r those on the flop. 67 also seems unlikely given the nittiness of the BB and lack of raise on the flop unless he flopped a straight flush. JsJx seems like a reasonable hand as does AsJs/AsQs/AsKs/QsKs because he may not reraise preflop because of an UTG raise. Sometimes he'll show up with other suited broadways as well. But I'm more interested in what we beat than what beats us.

Villain is a decent nl50 regular at Party. Kinda nitty stats i got on her (17/12/3), but ive never really seen her get outta line.

Party Poker
No Limit Hold'em Cash Game
$0.25/$0.50 Blinds
6 Players -

SB: $19.70
BB: $54.26
Hero (UTG): $96.58
MP: $62.43
CO: $48.82
BTN: $30.62

Preflop: Hero is dealt 5c 5d (6 Players)
Hero raises to $2.00, 4 folds, BB calls $1.50

Flop: ($4.25) 5s 8s 4s (2 Players)
BB checks, Hero bets $3.00, BB calls $3.00

Turn: ($10.25) Jd (2 Players)
BB checks, Hero bets $7.00, BB raises all-in to $49.26, Hero??

Why couldn't it be a flush? Part of my problem is I'm having trouble coming up with hands played this way so asking me that isn't fair since this is why I made the post. I really think his range is weighted very heavily to flushes and JJ. I'm trying to come up with hand we beat...

He most likely has the As and probably a J. I call this every day. Not happy to call but if he has JJ and hit his set then so be it. If he already has a flush, then you have outs. In the end, the insta-allin is likely a semi-bluff and he wants you to fold. Call and cry.

I have an easy time calling here.

If he slowplayed the flop why would he try to blow you out on the turn, very few players would do this. It looks like he picked up a pair and a FD, or two pair.

A lot of hands we crush plus a small amount of hands we still have 25% equity against.

Still tiptoeing around answering...Guess it's I have a set I'm arrrr in and don't care what my opponent has.

Massimo, the Jack doesn't make any 2 pairs on the turn for this guy. I don't think he's trying to blow us out either. He knows we have a big hand by double barreling on this board.

I didn't tiptoe around anything, why does a flush c/shove this turn card?
