These hands always confuse me. Turn bet is good? river c/f or c/c?
No particular read on Villain.

I like your line here because checking the river either tells him he has the best hand or induces a bluff, both of which are going to result in a tough call for you.
I like betting 1/2 pot here as you did and folding to a raise. Many worse hands pay you off.
EDIT: Check/calling the river isn't so bad either, as it appears he's missed a flush draw. I prefer your line because of the scary board though.

My instinct here would be to block bet for $80-$100. When is blocking bet preferred over a check/call?

Yeah, that's the problem.. Villain's calling range is straight and a small part 2p/set. But if I check Villain's betting range is J/6/air. 2p/set hands are going to check behind..
I thought because my line didn't look like a J/6, Villain might very well call with 2p. Too much thinking probably; c/c is best.
How about the turn? What if flop/board was rainbow?

This is a spot where I c/c river every time, or c/f depending on a few other things. I don't think many worse hands call here, and with the board being pretty scary we can let a missed flush draw bluff at it.

This relates to my post 'river strategy'. I like this bet over checking because you know to fold to a raise and he may have two pair or something and you get more value rather than him checking behind. If you check, are you going to call 3/4+ pot if he bets?

I think w/no reads I'd be more inclined to c/c. With the right read I would definitely bet. But I don't think your line is horrible either.
