EDIT: Whoops, I thought I deleted this thread last night...
Anyway, Boost and I were talking about this hand and we couldn't come to a consensus on the best way to play it. I'm pretty sure I missed out on making money here, but.....Do we 1) push over the donk-all-in bet from the SB, already knowing that there are 50bb's in the pot already? Or do we 2) flat call the all-in hoping that UTG will come along for pot odds reasons (or possibly push over the top of us)? And, if UTG does call.....we're pushing just about any flop, correct?
SB is a terrible shortstack idiot. UTG is a solid player. This particular table is starting to get pissed at me because I'm not running them over, I've been catching (and would continue to catch) cards on this particular table all night long.
Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ Hero (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)
Button ($103.45)
SB ($32.70)
Hero ($213.80)
UTG ($100)
MP ($62.98)
CO ($123.75)
Preflop: Hero is BB with A , A . SB posts a blind of $0.50.
UTG raises to $4, 3 folds, SB (poster) calls $3.50, Hero raises to $15, UTG calls $12, SB raises $28.70 (All-In), Hero raises $197.80 (All-In), UTG folds.
Flop: ($262.50) 5 , 5 , 6 (2 players, 2 all-in)
Turn: ($262.50) Q (2 players, 2 all-in)
River: ($262.50) 7 (2 players, 2 all-in)
Final Pot: $262.50
I obviously ended up pushing preflop which scared UTG away...missed out on some value, no?

If UTG is a solid player, you probably won't get it allin vs. him post flop unless you are beat. He probably has a low-mid PP. So, squeezing him out isn't that bad.

i like a call instead of PF push. shorty doesn't have enough money for you to try and push another hand out before the flop. if he had like $60 and pushed in the same spot then going over the top would be better.

What do you put him on Fnord? He raises UTG, then calls a reraise (not quite getting odds) then lets it go with the push.

AK, stubborn suited broadways. *meh*, yeah over-looked the call of $12 more. Yeah, push is good. Maybe re-raise to $40.
