5 Figures down the drain to a UK haxxor villain who decided to joyride 5knl PLO.
Make sure you pick up an RSA token if you haven't already. You can get one from the Stars FPP store for about $20-$30 worth of FPP, or here: http://www.rsa.com/node.aspx?id=1156
I ordered mine last week, received it today, works easy and like a charm.
I've also started using a new e-mail address exclusively for Stars. Also, implemented McAfee Anti-Virus.
For Stars players, there is also a PIN # option you could use to help secure your account. The RSA token is extremely effective though.

Why don't sites have some sort of automatic stoploss when an account suddenly gets activity from a completely way out the fuck away from it normally does? I mean, they could offer some sort of opt-in where if someone tries to log in from a different IP than the original one, they need the permission while logged into the original one or something.

I was not the victim, but I think it's important to post this.
silts, your point has been mentioned countless times to stars, including an e-mail i had sent to them today, but to no avail. you would think that setting up a sort of red flag system for weird IP addy's and games played would be standard stuff. The argument is that the added cost to implement something like this would be massive. 99.999% of the time when someone plays out of their roll, they never really played within their roll to begin with. Also, it would be a major headache to have to be submitting info everytime a normal user were playing from a different IP.

Because it's not +EV for the sites.

I have no interest in discussing strategy with a protege'. Your job is to remain quiet and listen. I have a very systematic approach that I will share with the right candidate and I promise that I will turn you into a force of nature and show you elements of the game of poker that you never knew existed.

Some douche bag was bilking my mom's account @ $25 to $50 a pop. She caught on when the bank contacted her about the unusual withdrawls and the frequency. She stopped the payments through the bank and She contacted PS. They would not identify the thief. She doesnt play there anymore. Cost her almost a grand.
