If you don't mind, reply first before you read the answer. I want to know what everyone thinks. Don't give it away either because people can see what you say as well!

I think I did pretty good here saving myself some money against another big stack. I put him on AA but TT was possible as well. Why would he keep reraising me after getting checkraised on the river? I didn't want anyone to see this and become tainted because I could be just seeing monsters under the bed

I'd smooth call his first river bet; at that point you think you're probably winning, but I hate putting a lot of money in when I don't have much of a read.
Also I don't really like your call on the turn. I think he's ahead of you there and I don't really understand why you'd stay in the hand at that point. If you cut this off at the turn (i.e. if I couldn't see the river action), I'd imagine he had a high pair lower than aces and you were behind, or possibly he had something like KQ and still had enough outs that you're really pursuing a very small edge anyway. Let the hand go right there.
As far as what I think he has? Aces or tens slowplayed on the flop; or possibly kings or queens which he is seriously overvaluing. He re-raised enough that I'm guessing aces or tens. I am always, always suspicious when someone shows by-the-book aggression pre-flop (3xBB raise) and then checks the flop, especially against only 1 opponent. Why check there? He's probably slowplaying something, unless he's a coward with a high pair/KQ, and fears the ace. But if that were the case, it seems unlikely he'd fire out a re-raise on the river after you raised him; even if he thought he was ahead he'd probably just call you. Aces or tens is the most likely scenario to me.

reads?
Absent of reads, you can't fold. Either call or drop the fucking hammer. I'd fear a higher full house though, and him giving you time to catch up, and therefore probably call.

I dont see anything wrong with your play here...especially this being a 6 max table. Your raise on the river was good, when he reraises you just call without a second of hesitation. I know you play 6 max alot so you know howmany times here someone will reraise with something like AT or even KK (although i dont think they had either here). If he does have AA or TT good for him.
interested to see what the conclusion was.

The conclusion is in my post in white letters somewhere between all those periods. I must have done a pretty good job hiding it. Thanks for the replies guys.

if your going to chase to the river looking for a boat with 22, you have to drop the hammer on the river when you hit to make up for all the money you are going to lose chasing to the river for a boat and miss.
but in this situation, the pot was tiny, your powerhouse check raise was a very strong bet screaming house .. but the fact he came back over the top of you, its time to let it go or cry call ... you played this hand well.
