Villain is a pretty normal reg, not that interesting and we've never played a big pot together before. He has a high steal percentage from the button and I'd 3 bet him a couple times today (he folded). I decided to call this time. I called the flop as he cbets very often but doesn't double barrel too much.
Not sure what the best move was on the turn since I got a bunch more outs and he went ahead and bet again.
And then I hit a river that paired the board. Best play? I figure b/f > c/c > b/c but I don't put much stock into what I think these days :P

I'd c/r flop with overs+bd FD.
As played, I'd c/r river. I don't see how this would be a c/c at all... unless you're playing so nitty that there's no way you're getting paid off by an overpair.

Happy to get all of my money in.
Bet/Call or Check/Raise are the only lines I'm considering.

probably more inclined to bet out cause its a card that sees villain check back a fair amount with hands we beat that will at least call

Last I played, online players tend to know better than to give too much heed to a completed backdoor flush. If button has a reasonably progressed game, he should be value betting a fair range of hands here. Although the board is so dry that I don't think you see him firing three barrels a lot with air. In short, I don't think a c/r is leaving that much behind compared to the more passive/scared money folks I play with. Against them, this is probably a bet and I might even think about folding to a raise but probably pay if off because we crush some of the hands a drooler would go nuts with here.
