UTG calls $1, 2 folds, Hero completes, BB checks.

Flop: ($3) J, Q, 4 (3 players)
Hero bets $2, BB folds, UTG raises to $4, Hero calls $2.

Turn: ($11) A (2 players)
Hero bets $7, UTG calls $7.

River: ($25) A (2 players)
Hero checks, UTG bets $15, Hero calls $15.

Final Pot: $55

No reads on villain--didn't seem retarded. Any thoughts on this line?

I felt like I'm often against a higher flush/boat in this spot and didn't want to have to make the decision of whether or not to call him if he pushed over a blocking bet.
Also, how much of a blocking bet do you typically make in spots like these?

What johnny said. I dont know about the river though, I normally c/c here, but a smallish blocking/valuebet might be better. Johnny, how much do you block bet this river for?
