Renton will become famous soon enough
I just sat a few hands ago.

Notes on rondavu: Loose player, but not really a lagg. More like a tagg who limps a lot of stuff. I actually have a greater preflop raising range than him. He plays draws pretty aggressively and generally plays tag-like whenever its the turn or the river.

I think you're smoked bro. What are you trying to rep with your hand? Looks like a flush draw or overpair on the flop.

He's obviously not trying to steal the pot with that weak $12 bet on the river, I think he's just throwing a bet bet out there that you'd have to call with even a weak pair on that board. I think you were called with either the nut flush or a full house.

It seems like a weak hand like a Jx Block betting but being an FTR guy i'm afraid he's 3rd leveling you.
Check out the new blog!!!

I don't think $12 into a $40+ pot counts as a blocking bet. Especially against someone who has been as aggressive the entire hand as Renton has.

It looks like a bet meant to induce a raise/bluff. I wouldn't be surprised if Rond reraised here.

i think its important to note that rondavu calls the flop and the turn VERY lightly.

also its virtually impossible to put him on a flush, so the rep value there is apparent

you seem to rep the nut flush. maybe a set/boat. the turn and river bet sizes seem a little weird to me though (why not more on turn and push river?).

anyways the $12 river bet looks suspicious. maybe rondavu has As6x, or 65, and wants you to raise. I just wouldn't expect a transparently weak bet from him without something more to it than planning to fold to a raise.

c/c, c/c? It's passive but it's not unheard of. Rondavu just might take that line with a flush against you.

I found Rondavu to be fairly tough although with 700 hands against we've never battled post flop HU he is one of the few Tag type players at 100nl that is a winning player in my database.

Given what you know about both players, I don't think it's that terrible of a spot to get stacked. Against a lot of players, I like calling the flop 3-bet. Against Rondavu I think shoving is a better play.

Anyway, I more than made-up the difference in winning just about every smaller pot we got into. I think that aggression got him to fight back so hard with AK.

tottaly agreed. I dont quite think i expected to see 99 here, more like some sort of ace, probably weaker.
