I remember a few months back there was a full ring game between the ftr folks.

Any interest in doing something similar in a 6 max form. Something in the 50nl-200nl range to get the most participation? We could get a couple of tables going if the numbers are there.

Anybody interested?

I would be up for this from 10pm to 2am CET. However, I only have the possibility of playing 3-4 days /week, so it would depend on the day you guys choose.
Anything from 50NL to 200NL.

I don't have a ft account anymore unfortunately so I'd be pushing for stars. I was thinking sunday afternoon for me/night for you eastern folks. So like 6 or 7 est?

I've added a poll so we'll c what we come up with.

There is an option for neither site or if Sunday doesn't work for you.

If you could post which way you voted so we know who we need to accommodate etc. That way the poll doesn't get screwed by randoms.

So it looks like stars is the winner.

Anybody who only play fulltilt see if someone with money on both sites can transfer you some money.

Next question is which limit. I would guess that 100nl or 50nl would be best to get the most people. I have adjusted the poll for that.

I just thought I'd throw out something that I've thought about in the past, and while it's unlikely it will happen any time soon, I think it's something that would be cool to get the ball rolling on. If places like FTR and 2p2 etc. could create password protected Cash tables. If this is an old Idea, then ur welcome to ignore me, but if not, maybe something FTR could look into, just thought I'd throw that Idea around to see wat u think.
And FWIW, I WOULD be down for a 50nl cash game cept thats what I play and it would likely be -ev for me to play w/ a bunch of better players imo.

Yeah its a good idea for the future for sure.

So I guess 50nl it is. We'll get started around 7pm Eastern time. I'll post here when I get some tables together.

This is a great idea. Can't do it this time, but I would be interested in the future. Maybe a monthly game night, so we could plan in advance? It could rotate a bit to fit different schedules. Heck, maybe even a monthly game at both Tilt and stars? Very cool idea.

I don't think I won a pot that went past preflop with anything greater than 8 high. I wish I could have stayed for more than 10 minutes, would have been cool to get some good levels going.

In all seriousness you aren't bad at all like you kept typing in the chat. But I literally stole the blinds once, whether on the button, CO or SB with you to my left. I did successfully 4bet bluff you twice though. I'd be careful

Thanks for setting this up even though I only had 1 buyin to start with.

These TT hands were totally butchered.

I don't know if b/f is the right play here or not or just fold the turn, but anyway, I forgot the fold part. Price was too good.

$0.25/$0.5 No Limit Holdem
5 players
Converted at weaktight.com

Stacks:
UTG ($84.55)
Hero (CO) ($74.00)
BTN ($70.55)
SB ($51.00)
BB ($49.75)

Pre-flop: ($0.75, 5 players) Hero is CO
1 fold, Hero raises to $1.50, BTN calls $1.50, 2 folds

Flop: ($3.75, 2 players)
Hero bets $2, BTN calls $2

Turn: ($7.75, 2 players)
Hero checks, BTN bets $4.50, Hero calls $4.50

River: ($16.75, 2 players)
Hero bets $7.50, BTN raises to $20, Hero calls $12.50

Final Pot: $56.75
Hero shows:
BTN shows:

BTN wins $54.75 ( won +$26.75 )
Hero lost -$28

I knew I should probably 4-bet this one preflop and again I don't really beat anything.

I kept getting into stupid spots with medium/smallish pairs and got no action on my big hands. I guess these are the spots you're talking about.

baudib,

some of those hands are played really bad. i dont know how seriously you are approaching the game of NLHE, but do you watch instructional videos or have you considered getting a coach?
My bankroll is the amount of money I would spend or lose before I got a job. It is calculated by adding my net worth to whatever I can borrow.

Yeah I agree they were totally butchered. I'm open for anything. I'm actually doing OK against most passive fish at this level but I was so clearly the worst player among this group it wasn't even funny.
Playing big pots at small stakes.

It happens to everyone sometimes that we misjudge someone's range on the turn or the river and make a mistake because of this. The first TT hand is a good example. But the second TT hand and the 88 hand are so terrible that they just show a fundamental lack of knowledge of how to play against aggressive players. I'm not sure you understand why these hands were butchered because if you did you would never have played them this way. Just telling you because you seem like a cool guy who takes criticism well.

TT - if you think SB's range is weak enough to call here preflop then you should probably 4bet small and call a shove from SB, and either call or fold to UTG+1. Betting $12.50 on the flop is silly because your hand looks ridiculously strong and I don't think a worse hand ever gives you action. Either check or bet like $5.

88 - call preflop almost always. If you think he's going to get stupidly out of line vs a 3bet then 3bet and shove over a 4bet. Flatting the 4bet with 88 is just horrible. I would recommend never flatting 4bets until you really know what you're doing.
