Over the past month or so ive been mixing in ratholing at the really bad 3/6 and 2/4 tables. And it's been really profitable. It's been really high varaince but it's so easy. I see ilikeaces86 doing it a lot. Pretty much my strategy is...
1. Push AK, AA-JJ to any raise (AQ and TT depending on raiser)
2. Squezze with a loose raiser and loose caller(s)
3. Play no SC's or pp's most of the time.
4. Buy in 1/4th stack

Right now I'm getting a lot of retarded calls. Are regs eventually going to figure me out and have my ratholing become less profitable? Clearly, im only doing this at aggressive tables where I can exploit pf ranges. It seems like people just take "it's a short stack fuck em" mentality.

It's definately profitable. It's pretty mindless though and a lot of people don't do it well. If you're good enough to beat a given level anyways you're going to be making less money than if you sat with a full stack. Like you said, the variance can be pretty disgusting as well.
