Russia judge gives it a 3.5, I want to know what villain plays like and your table image. This is probably a good bluff though.

    I give you a 1. I won't judge the bluff though.

Table image medium-rare, just couldnt put villain on a lot of Tx hands and I guess he also figures I cant be bluffing here can I!

I usually just bet the turn, but the regs in my game are post-flop weak/tight suckers for obvious floats.

    no like

he can have a T just fine. also its a 3bet pot and hes putting money in for 100bb. dont bluff. he should never b/f this river with 2p+ imo.

also dont put it past him to play weird or light since you think you can call his 3bet with Q9s.

Also is it better to just bet turn smallish, shove river?

if your image is crazy i think this is a spew

i kinda assumed your image would be strong tagg

max just always seemed vv straightforward and tight when I played him but I dunno, maybe that s just cuz he was playing lowstakes and assumed we were all retards.

lolll yea i realized right after that with my image and meta that this was a v.bad play... thoughts about small turnish bet and river shove instead????

as for max yeah hes tight/straightforward especially in 4bet pots he always has it. But if you get in 3betting wars with him he tends to loosen up but never to the point of monkey tilt 5betting (like me).

    hmmm

tbh if he thinks you re smart I think a big turn bet looks most scary cuz u guys are prob 1 level deeper and he ll think you re trying to get him to think you re trying to steal the pot

    if that makes any sense...

speaking of 5-bet spews, wtf is with J9ss? MRFISTA (or whatever his name is) 5-bet shoved me yesterday with it just like u did and i snapped him off with A6ss. Why do the taggs love 5-bet shoving J9ss??

This is something you usually say to me but... every street is spew!

I really think IFF he was going to be bluffing, the turn would be the place he'd do it. This river bet is pure value. I agree that his bet sizing is such that he doesn't want to get raised, but now that he's in there I don't know if he's folding his two pair/trips.

He probably also doesn't expect you to be calling PF with many Tx hands that would call this flop (it's not like you're calling this flop with 9Ts). He probably doesn't think you're calling his 3-bets with hands like QT/KT etc (though clearly you are).

Tend to agree with griffey. Tough for you to have a T here unless you have JsTs, Ts9s, or AT. Not sure why you would check through a turned straight when you're worried about a 3rd spade or the board pairing. And his river bet size doesn't look like he's going to fold, it looks like he puts you on a hand with some showdown value and is trying to make up for missed turn value (although obv good villains won't give reliable info with their bet sizing).

I fold pre (but defend QTs) and fold river.

I mean it really depends on the player. I think i'd give it a 10 for thought, but if I have a set here im going to tilt cry call it, even though it's probably the wrong move.

i really think a lot of whether or not villain calls is going to have to do w/ his state of mind at the time and how often you take a line like this as well as how often you bet 4 straight and 4 flushes as bluffs. i think its not really a science at all ... both of you can have a T here imo, but probably game dynamics are just way too important.

flattin ur 4bets, makin u tilt
this is only good if u and villain have lengthy history of him seeing u play totally straightforward and he's also a thoughtful player-otherwise id expect him to instacall this with a set. he's so exploited if he folds a set here and ur at all capable of creative plays. You both have very few tens in your range after flop bet and call.
