Villain is aggro TAG 21/16ish. My first thought was easy raise but then it occurred to me that I'm actually raising into a pretty strong range here. What do you think?

$2.5/$5 No Limit Holdem
6 players
Converted at weaktight.com

Stacks:
UTG ($1050.56)
UTG+1 ($497.50)
CO ($663.30)
Hero ($492.50)
SB ($556.40)
BB ($743.70)

Pre-flop: ($7.5, 6 players) Hero is BTN
UTG raises to $17.5, 2 folds, Hero calls $17.5, 2 folds

Flop: ($42.5, 2 players)
UTG bets $32, Hero calls $32

Turn: ($106.5, 2 players)
UTG bets $72, $72 to Hero ($443)?

He is going to expect you to raise your fd on the flop I think so you can't really rep much by raising. I assume this isn't for value so I would think you get looked up pretty light if you raise this turn.

I flat this flop with a FD a lot vs an UTG raiser FWIW. Dunno what he would think I would do with a FD though which is what's important.

Raise or fold are both fine. If you've played a fair amount together and he hasn't seen you get out of line then I'd favor raise.
