Sorry, but cake just changed their hh files, so nothing can convert them yet.
1)This is Villain's first hand at the table and I've never seen him before. He bought in for the suggested amount, which usually indicates a live player or something. Is there a good reason to buy in for 60 bbs?
Hand#1860011475000381 - Seville (6-Max) 11475 -- $1/$2 NL Hold'em -- 2009/05/09 - 01:20:22
Seat 6: bost*** ($120 in chips)
Seat 7: dyvynr ($189.52 in chips) DEALER
Seat 8: nigh*** ($197 in chips)
nigh***: posts small blind $1
bost***: posts big blind $2
Dealt to dyvynr [Ts,Qd]
dyvynr: raises to $7
nigh***: folds
bost***: calls $5
*** FLOP *** [Qs,4c,2c]
bost***: checks
dyvynr: bets $12
bost***: raises to $24
dyvynr: calls $12
*** TURN *** [Tc]
bost***: is all in 89.0000
dyvynr: calls $89
There was $63 in the pot and he snap shoved. I figured the speed of it meant he wanted to look strong. Ok, honestly I don't think I screwed this one up, but I'm not really feeling at ease with calling overbets on scary turn cards from unknown villains.
2)
Erin is a reg. I haven't seen anything impressive, but she seems to have the usual tagg toolbox.
Hand#1860012068000373 - Seville (6-Max) 12068 -- $1/$2 NL Hold'em -- 2009/05/09 - 01:26:18
Seat 3: odin*** ($438.40 in chips) DEALER
Seat 4: IIIO*** ($156.55 in chips)
Seat 6: heyc*** ($285.15 in chips)
Seat 7: dyvynr ($178 in chips)
Seat 8: Erin*** ($504.55 in chips)
heyc***: posts small blind $1
dyvynr: posts big blind $2
Dealt to dyvynr [6d,5d]
Erin***: raises to $4
odin***: calls $4
IIIO***: folds
heyc***: folds
dyvynr: calls $2
*** FLOP *** [3d,9h,2d]
dyvynr: bets $12
Erin***: calls $12
odin***: folds
*** TURN *** [5c]
dyvynr: bets $24
Erin***: calls $24
*** RIVER *** [Qs]
dyvynr: checks
Erin***: bets $42.50
dyvynr: calls $42.50
I just felt that I had a good bluff catcher, and she's betting everything except med/strong hands when I check, so I check/called as opposed to firing a third barrel and folding out pretty much only stuff I beat.
PS, that hand sets up another that I'll post later.
3)
This is the one I really think I botched.
Same table as hand 1, much later on. nightowl wasn't a reg as far as I knew but he's been playing all day. He was fairly straightforward, we had played quite a bit HU waiting for the table to fill and he never got out of line. I ran pretty well against him and won probably 10/12 showdowns.
Hand#1860011475000430 - Seville (6-Max) 11475 -- $1/$2 NL Hold'em -- 2009/05/09 - 01:45:35
Seat 4: KING*** ($60.80 in chips)
Seat 5: jimm*** ($200 in chips)
Seat 6: Dave*** ($201 in chips) DEALER
Seat 7: dyvynr ($293.32 in chips)
Seat 8: nigh*** ($448.20 in chips)
Seat 9: sgde*** ($61.45 in chips)
nigh***: posts small blind $1
sgde***: posts big blind $2
Dealt to dyvynr [5c,Ac]
KING***: folds
Dave***: raises to $7
dyvynr: calls $7
nigh***: raises to $27
sgde***: folds
Dave***: folds
dyvynr: calls $20
*** FLOP *** [Kc,Ts,Qd]
nigh***: bets $31.50
dyvynr: calls $31.50
*** TURN *** [7c]
nigh***: bets $89
dyvynr: is all in 234.8200
I called the flop thinking I'd take it away if he checks the turn (TT,JJ,AA,AK?). The turn card gave me something to work with, which sucks, because if it didn't I could check/fold knowing there was no way I could win the hand. Given the flush draw and the gut shot and knowing that he's probably folding AA and AK to a shove, I shoved. The question is whether he actually bet/folds those hands here.

In hand 2 I paid her off and she showed Qd7d for a busted flush draw that hit a queen on the river. I made a note about bet sizing.
This happened 3 hands later:
Hand 4)
Hand#1860012068000376 - Seville (6-Max) 12068 -- $1/$2 NL Hold'em -- 2009/05/09 - 01:28:06
Seat 3: odin*** ($425.40 in chips)
Seat 4: IIIO*** ($156.55 in chips)
Seat 6: heyc*** ($284.15 in chips)
Seat 7: dyvynr ($200 in chips) DEALER
Seat 8: Erin*** ($598.85 in chips)
odin***: posts small blind $1
IIIO***: posts big blind $2
Dealt to dyvynr [Ac,3c]
heyc***: folds
dyvynr: raises to $7
Erin***: calls $7
odin***: folds
IIIO***: folds
*** FLOP *** [2h,8s,5h]
dyvynr: bets $12
Erin***: calls $12
*** TURN *** [3d]
dyvynr: bets $22
Erin***: calls $22
*** RIVER *** [Tc]
dyvynr: checks
Erin***: bets $85
dyvynr: calls $85
I really didn't want to call as I had proven myself a station in the previous hand. The board is drawy as hell and nothing came out. Unless this is TT then the play really makes no sense, and I think TT would have raised at some point earlier.

1 - Good.
2&4 - I actually don't hate these river calsl but it depends on your opponent, some people always have it here.
3 - Train wreck. If you make this preflop call on a regular basis then you are a losing player at most 1-2 tables. Flop call is a big mistake as well.

In hand 2, what hands are you bluffcatching?
Shove river.
This is a spot where villain is almost never ever bluffing, but never can be particularly strong.
Hand 3 what are you doing? surely you know better than this. Obv fold pre vs. straightforward player. I don't even want to think about after that. you are better off 4B bluffing than flatting, but I dont even like a 4b bluff in this spot

I think where my train derailed was either thinking that it was a squeezey kind of play or going back into HU mode since i played the same guy HU for a long time before the table got going.
Since I screwed up preflop and got involved anyway, he's got to put me on a decent range and I figured I could rep TT or an AJ or KQ that screwed up pre. So the flop call is pretty marginal, but if he can give up on the turn than I think it's defensible.
The turn play is just bad because i really think now that his whole range is calling. I guess I could argue for a call but it's close. I'm getting like 2.5:1, and with money behind I'm thinking I'll get it in if I back into the flush. I'm not sure if I could make anything off of the straight. It sucks to fold off that much equity.
