Given hero's demonstrated agression from out of position, wouldn't a set push instead of minraise on the turn? of course there is no flush draw with the rainbow board, but there are tons of straight opportunities out there w/ four cards out all under 9.when i read through it before seeing the result, I was thinking the minraise meant something he could have possibly smooth called, like 99 or 1010. glad to see i was kinda right, but he deserves it for not raising QQ. nice job.
In answer to your question... it depends...

I would expect to be behind here very often. If I hadn't seen the results I would have guessed a weird, fishy straight or a set.

This all changes if you've been laggy for a while raising hands like 86o and feel that the opponents are playing back at you with small hands/air.

Push it all in!

This is 6-Max, many treat A6 as the nuts on that flop.

I'd call something like that all day.

Q. Is poker Gambling?
A. Do you use correct bankroll management?

Exactly. Especially with the check min-raise. Weak

Turn minraises scream monster to me and I'm usually right when I pay it off. A turn minraise here is just a minraise, but its a whopping $50. How often do you think people are going to bluff using a 50BB minraise?

I may have turned weak-tight but I don't like getting allin here. If you're the aggressor then fine, but since he just raised you you have to decide if its worth it.

Watch your games for flop check/calls followed by turn minraises. This almost always happens when you see the turn bring a flush card or when the checkraiser is holding a flopped hand.

I'm not saying to always fold to turn minraises though. Its all based on how you've read your opponent's hand. You can usually tell when someone is just getting sick of being pushed around. Experience is key in these situations.

However, from the information I have here, you are usually behind here.

BTW, what are your chances of filling up here? 4 outs? That might also be something to take into consideration depending on the size of the pot and raise.

I just don't see it. He just limps in on the pre-flop and does a very weak flop bet.... trying to smooth call to set a terrible trap. His pre-flop and flop actions scream of JJ-QQ-10-10. I just don't see it. I don't see him behind when his pre-flop and flop actions are so weak.... and his bluff showed he was really behind and drawing dead on the turn

lately i'm seeing lots of fake moves with absolutely nothing to show for it

I might raise, and another re-raises or even RE-reraises my flop bet with shit expecting me to fold.
take your ego out of the equation and judge the situation dispassionately
