I am running 27/24 and running over this table. Villain is new to me, but seems like he wants to be laggy. Over 65 hands is is 26/21. I 4bet to try and induce a shove, and to try to keep him from 3betting light so I can keep beating up the table.

I make it 74 pre, he still thinks u can fold with 74 anyways.

As played i probably c/r. I think there's no doubt he shoves AK pre so you have him pretty crushed here. If he has AQ or AA i just say w/e. I think given the situation he could've tried floating you with some retard shit anyways.

I mean the only reason i say c/r is because if you do it's going to be less than min anyways.

This hand is really tough, on one hand your crushed if this guy is playing in control at all. But on the other hand i see people call fourbets here with such shit with plans on either hitting or taking away the pot postflop.

I guess this hand isn't very standard. I shoved flop he folded. I wanted him to know that any 4 bet from me means hes going to face heat, I didn't want him 3betting and shutting out the fish that were behind him. I understand the c/r, but what if he checked behind? Am I then content to check it down?

Your not thinking about this situation correctly. His range when he calls is likely something like AA, AQ, TT, and weird shit he didnt want to fold.. Your range is likely AK, JJ+, and air. Yes, your shove is bluffy given your range but given his range its pretty irrelevant, you allow him to not make a mistake by shoving into him and your shoving into a pretty disgusting calling range.

If he checks behind your damn right were checking it down. Once he checks behind he is likely repping SD value anyways so anything that wants to bet has us beat. Any subsequent later street is tough to a bet but probably a fold.
