Apologies if I keep posting dumbass standard questions but I don't feel high on confidence at the moment.
Villain is 73/41 over 27 hands. Who calls the river?
Starting game 2487933416.
Big_Blindeur is at seat 0 with $25.01.
jmood is at seat 1 with $8.40.
sbedvek is at seat 3 with $16.07.
The dealer is seat 1.
sbedvek posts a blind of $.05.
Big_Blindeur posts a blind of $.10.
(sbedvek is dealt Ac 8h.)
Pre-flop:
jmood folds.
sbedvek raises $.30.
Big_Blindeur calls for $.30.
The flop comes
Ah 10d 10s.
sbedvek bets $.80.
Big_Blindeur calls for $.80.
The turn comes 6s.
sbedvek bets $1.80.
Big_Blindeur calls for $1.80.
The river comes 9d.
sbedvek checks.
Big_Blindeur bets $6.

Possibly fold pre, as played, muck. I think you can definitely get away with a flop check here - betting flop and turn folds most things you beat, plus you end up playing a big pot with a pissweak hand.

Yes, we're out of position with a really shitty ace and by the looks of it we're not sure how to go about things postflop. (no offence kevster!)
Gimme 57s over A8o here any day.

A8o is a weak hand, esp. OOP. But the less players the better it becomes, especially at 10NL. They still play any Ace 10handed... I do think this is a raising spot pf 3 handed (57s too off course). Anyway postflop try and keep this pot small. I do bet river here (but I would have difference bet sizes on all streets)

No way I'm folding this PF. I probably check turn though depending on villain.

I'm not programmed to take offence - especially as I've been playing bloody awful in the last few days.
Glad this post has raised a bit of debate though.

I'm looking at this hand in conjunction with the other hand you posted against the same Villain. It looks like he's taking exactly the same line against you. C/c/Bluff or C/c/ value bet. This is a really standard line taken by lower stakes calling station fools. I think you really need to dictate the action against these players. You are giving Villain the impression that you are double-barrelling with air. Against these stations think value bet, and keep the pot managable. I expect Villain to show up with A weaker ace/ small pp more often than I expect him to have me beat. Even if you are beat you should be able to dictate the showdown price. The other hand all-in on the flop, don't put in 40% of the effective stacks and fold. You'll get called by worst often.

Check the turn. Fold the river to such a big bet unless he's making a habit out of it.
