Is there such a thing.
I caught a lot of flack over the weekend playing a few big pots preflop with suited connectors and even suited one gapers.

A couple of guys at the table were pissed and taking shots at me for calling raises preflop.

So my question is, is it +EV to call a raise in late position with a bunch of callers in front?

Most of these situations I called ( 1.5 or $2 ) with at least $8.00 in the pot and caught a great flop, either the nuts or one away from the nuts. I also find that alot oft $25NL players don't probe or continuation bet the proper amount after the flop. I see bets of $2 or $3 giving great odds to call for my OESD or 4 flush.

Any opinions? Good or Bad? and yes I can get away if the price is too high or I miss the flop.

I play this way all the time. With lots of callers and position, a lot of hands are playable that would be foldable with less action or out of position.

Miffed22001 is on a distinguished road
oh man if i get dealt T9s on the btton and its raised and called then im in the pot!
i dont make every call with these hands but certainly if there is money in the pot then get in it and hope to flop a decent draw.
Also, id be raising these sorts of hands on enough occasions so playing them in a raised pot isnt unusual for me.
And if they give you odds to draw let them shout about playing crap cards and catching. If they cant defend their hands then they havent anything really to say

Just nod and agree that your play is bad. Keep doing it and keep taking their money. No need to argue.

Yup. I had some guy yelling at a fish the other day saying "how can you call with 11% odds!?" Why even tell them there is such a thing as an odd, let alone ODDS??

Same guy yelled at me for raising his $5 bet to $35.
