Assuming decent but not excellent opposition, how do you like these moves? I'm trying to become more aggressive and less readable, playing draws hard and fast is one of the points on my todo list. Preflop line is probably marginal in both hands, right?

I like both although I might fold Hand 1 pre-flop.

Damn, the BB is betting and he mucked pre... what could he possibly have!?
ok, serious comments.
On hand 1 i feel like you don't have much FE and since you are in position i'd just call down and play accordingly and bluff a turn 6.
Hand 2 since you aren't in position i like... but i doubt you got anyone to fold.

Thanks for the replies, I will keep doing this. For the results oriented: Hand 1: SB folded, UTG let his timer run like 10 seconds and then took my stack with bottom set. Hand 2: BB instacalled with top/bottom two and I spiked a club.

hand 1: pf call is kinda weak- i like raising better than limping and I probably dont like calling the raise.
Rest of both of these hands is super std.

I know I had a reason for limping in the first place, I think either the UTG limper or the BB was really bad postflop and I wanted to see a cheap flop in position against him. Calling the raise when there was only decent opposition left in the hand was probably a larger mistake.
Is the hand 2 preflop call standard OOP? I used to have a really tight range for calling in the SB but am currently trying to see more flops with medium SCs when there is a big pot brewing..

I am wondering the same. I rather call with medium SC in a multiway pot but then others say that SC don't like multiway pots. However, its nice to check/push the flop with a monster draw.

yea given that there were donks in the hand and you got a caller in front of you I think ur odds are good enough to take a flop in hand 1 though a fold would be fine.
Yea, PF call is standard

I think preflop is pretty bad in the first hand and fine in the second. In both hands I think postflop is good as we have a lot of equity in these pots

Who says SC don't like multiway pots!?.. isn't multiway ideal for suited connectors?
with position ofcourse.
