This hand is in another thread I just made but I'm curious what ppl think about this line. Just had a really good discussion about this with Rav, but he seems to be running like shit as usual so I'd like to hear other opinions.

Villain just arrived at table :

- Genitruc sitting in seat 1 with $225.85
- Tiltmealot sitting in seat 2 with $238.81
- fewld sitting in seat 3 with $121.26
- mrlavik sitting in seat 4 with $304.30
- krrlil sitting in seat 5 with $109.30
- ribberfors sitting in seat 6 with $181.85 [Dealer]

Genitruc posted the small blind - $1.00
Tiltmealot posted the big blind - $2.00
** Dealing card to Genitruc:
fewld folded
mrlavik folded
krrlil folded
ribberfors folded
Genitruc raised - $7.00
Tiltmealot called - $7.00

** Dealing the flop: :Kd: :Jd:
Genitruc bet - $14.00
Tiltmealot raised - $28.00
Genitruc (decision 1) called - $28.00

** Dealing the turn:
Genitruc checked
Tiltmealot bet - $35.00
Genitruc is all in.
when the vpip's are high and the value bets are like razors, who can be safe?

i fold flop just because ur oop and there are way too many cards that screw you, as well as the fact you may be beat already.

He either has the nut flush, some weak TP pair and straight draw, or some form of flush draw.

ISF folding the flop seems dumb

I actually kinda like your play.

Without a read on villain this is a tough spot since so many things could be going on here.

I'd actually pulled the stack-a-donk bluff a few times this session (not vs this villain obv) and had people snap-fold hands they had minraised the flop with.

The thinking behind the CR on turn is to get him to fold all his bluffs/medium strength pair +draw hands (or to get him to make a terrible call). If I'm crushed I'm crushed.

Leading the turn is interesting but I'd hate doing it unless I knew villain was weak (lots of cards can come on the river which will be shitty to deal with OOP in a bloated pot).

With no reads I'd probably just call him down and hope the board doesn't get any uglier. Folding the flop might be weak, but I don't think you're giving up a lot of EV. Won't the turn push get called by all the hands that beat you and fold out everything you beat? Good against combo draws, i guess.

yeah it'll fold out all hands I beat (unless he makes a stupid call w KxQd or some shit) but that's fine by me since pot is now pretty big and I'll have to see so many river cards.

Certainly don't like the stack--a-donk. I consider folding to the m/r since you are OOP and bad reverse implied odds. If you think the m/r might be weak or semi-bluff, I don't mind peeling one. But I think when he bets the turn, he's not likely to be semi-bluffing any more - best case scenario he has 1pair+diamond and calls being slightly behind.
