This isnt a situation i've run into to many times at 10nl. But i want to know what to do when the situation arises, when im playing in higherr stakes/better players.
Ok, Say you raise 99 utg, and it folds round to a LAGGY Tricky/skillful button (whos been 3 betting a heap pre on the button and u've yet to see his cards at showdown) who then 3 bets you. You call.
say his stats are somethink like 26/22/5 or somethink round abouts.
Flop comes something like 2h 6c 7d rainbow
You check to the raiser, he bets somethink like 2/3rd psb. Hero calls.
Turn is Js
Hero checks, Villain bets another decent sized bet..(2/3), Hero?
Okay, all of the moves above^^, may be wrong, but thats what i want u to help me with.
Do we 4 bet the tag pre?
Check fold flop , lead flop fold to a raise, check call?
Check- Fold turn, Lead Turn, Check raise turn.?
Do we give him credit for the 2nd barrel here and just let it go..?
Some tips would swell.

wow are people really 3 betting lite in position at 10nl now? crazy. playing 99 oop wihtout initiative is a way to get into really really tricky spots. I might just dump it if the player is good. he has to give your utg range some credit. if i do call i would fold to his turn bet.

I 4-bet/call preflop against this guy, but I could be wrong to do this.

I'd reraise his flop bet big to see where you are at.

This is why LAgg works.
Let him bluff off some more money.

So u think he's bluffing in this situation...? If it were me in this situation, i'd probably put him on missed overs and play the hand as played so far...but....say u were 300bb deep, and he pushed on the river. Time for a super dooper *coveryour eyes* call?

This is a different situation...but while im on here, might as well post a hand. This is the same hand except in position.
His turn bet appears reaaly weak, and i feel like pushing but i know he'll be commited. The only hand im ahead of is a KhQh imo. Villian is 20/16/3. Is his 'less then half the pot sised' turn bet a small blocking bet, or a small bluff inducing bet with a hand like jj.
Villian is 20/16/3 only 50 or so hands...

100BB deep I mix it up between crai flop and calling flop and crai turn.
I would crai with AK pretty often here so you want to protect it with your over pairs.
