I would like some advice playing suited connectors (say 10 J or 9 10) in position. I get the flush on the River with a couple of overcards on the board, and there is a minium bet and a small raise. Should I raise again or just call not having the nut flush? Just would like some opinions? Thanks! This sites is great! Well Done.
Holy crap I cant play against Yoda!!

its hard to say without the whole play information from preflop to river. It all depends on how the flop was. If it there was already 2 suited on the flop and no one bet out big to chase away flush draws, then I would be more inclined to fold, however, if there was only 1 of your suit and you hit runner runner, then I might consider calling or even raising but then again it all depends on how your opponents have been playing up till now.

with a bet and a raise in front me, i would likely call in most situations. even though the raise is small, he could be putting out a raise he knows someone will call and hoping another player will reraise him... so be ready to put in all your chips if you do reraise.

although your hand is strong, the other guy is signalling he has a flush too, so unless you have the nut it's not worth risking stack.

i would also do the same if my flush hit and board paired at the same time on the river.

I play these cautiously, i'm willing to call a reasonable bet but I'm always careful not running into a bigger flush. The other day i thought i had, i bet 5 on the end he re-raised to 10. I called thinking "damn" and he turned over 63s vs my QTs. Was a tasty pot

I'm not sure if i'm losing EV playing them slow, but i feel like its working well for me
