Been a bad day full of ridiculous beats and oddly played hands by villains that have confused the shit out of me. In other words, I'm really disoriented in what the hell these people are doing. Hence, I think I played this too weak because I'm trying too hard to protect my meager winnings. Villain runs about 24/17/2.7 over 900 hands. Only notes I have are he behaves when 3-bet and overvalues trips. I don't remember any hands where he has 3-bet, I know he doesn't 3-bet with JJ or less from what I've seen. Not sure about AK.

4-bet him anyway? Any other comments?

Calling preflop makes this a flop raise I think.

I think you played this too weak. Villain is running 24/17/2.7 not 9/4/1, are you seriously putting him on aa? You are deep too, im pretty sure i 4bet this preflop to about ~42ish. I don't like calling here at all, you are deep and you are giving the third player an invitation to join in on the pot. You played this pretty conservativly/weak. I would also raise the flop and probably bet throughout the hand as long as an ace doesn't come out. I don't know what your putting him on that you played it so weak, but i can't see how your not ahead here.

Calling with KK preflop oop is almost a standard c/raise on a board without an Ace in it. But I usually like a preflop raise here especially with UTG still to act.

Only solace I can give you is I flopped a full house and got rivered a straight flush for all the money on sunday night ;p

I might smooth call if it's HU, but multiway its a must-raise.

And why didn't we bet turn ?
