Don't get me wrong, I love the pot odds, I just can't figure how he's bluffing very often with that crappy bet. (Well I guess he doesn't have to be bluffing OFTEN at 5 to 1.)

I could very well see a busted JdTd doing this knowing he is behind but wanting to take a shot at it anyway but not too expensive. Remember, he has to get you to fold only about 20% of the time to make this bet profitable.

I didn't snap it but I did call - pot odds just too juicy. He had Ad 2d and MHIG. But now you know: if you are ever playing with me and have the 7 in that situation, a 1/4 pot bet is what I will call.

don't make hero folds in this game. There is no way you can ever fold this to his river bet.

I was glad to call (and more glad to win) but I don't think a raise is very good in that spot against most players.

Better question for this thread: OK, I can't fold for 1/4 pot. What bet do you think is too high to call? If he check-calls twice and then leads for $10 or $15, do you call? Try to ignore that you know the outcome.
