I'm rusty after a long time away from regular play, and rebuilding at NL100. villain is 28/22/1.4, 6.5 3bet over only 80 hands, no reads. I'm playin around 18/14 and probably c-betting too much. i planned on betting most turns if called on the flop.

Average kicker, I'd fold.

are we happy with my flop and turn bets?

the difficult part for me here is that this is a clear two barreling opportunity for me. I don't think he's aware that i do it a lot (prob way more than i should) so that might make it a clear fold, but when i was playing regularly at 1/2 and 2/4 a few months back i know i have to bet here for value because i'm expected to barrel.

So this hand troubles me because i'm not confident of any kind of range to put him on. I think its pretty tight and only air or sets (maybe AT), possibly hands like 87s that just made fd.

the reason it troubles me ( i do agree, i think its a clear fold) is because i feel like we have to fold almost everything here. like 101 says, kicker doesn't matter. what's the minimum we continue with here? i just hate the idea that he can call with most of his range on the flop and know that i have to fold top pair to a raise(especially if he knows i barrel a lot).

villain doesn't look too aggro to me, why level yourself with this thinking?
