Villian is 34/23/2 with a CB of 81% and a 50% turn CB (3 out of 6)

My flop minraise is pretty retarded let's just call it a misclick. Let's try to avoid the flop minraise discussion because i don't ever do it but this time i felt like i will be facing 3barrels against this guy most of the time and i used it as some what as a defensive strategy. I was planning on checking back a lot of turns.

But when he 3bts the flop now it looks like he is sooooo FOS because this board is super dry. This also has Yeti written all over it.

Thoughts....

Button ($100)

Preflop: Hero is CO with 7, 8
1 fold, MP bets $3, Hero calls $3, 3 folds

Flop: ($7.50) 2, 3, 7 (2 players)
MP bets $5, Hero raises to $10, MP raises to $25, Hero ??

yea my flop minraise was a huge mistake no doubt.

But does he 3bet those hands on such a dry flop??

Also forgot to mention my image is pretty clean haven't been doing fishy moves. I am playing 20/18 TAG.

Then call him down? Problem with your "defensive strategy" is that it won't work against anyone who is any good, but good try scaring him into keeping the pot small. As played I would probably shove and expect to be slightly +EV but to get stacked a lot.
