Check the river or valuebet it? I was afraid of the 3rd club falling on the river, so I went for a check/call on last street. Should I've valuebetted this river instead, or do I run into a rivered flush here often enough to make a valuebet a bad move?
Opp was 27/5, though I only had a few hands on him - so he wasnt a complete donk, and thats why I was afraid he wouldnt call my river bet without the flush.

Personally I would price the river. $4-$6.

checking the flop is not great imo 3 handed. If someone thinks you have nothing you find out quickly on that board, so id bet.
Always value bet the river here, or at least acting first make a blocking bet stopping opp from trying to bluff it.
As fnord would say if he raises your river bet you sometimes have to call regardless. I think betting on the flop gives you enough info to put opp on a hand whereas betting the turn opp could have anything

i agree, maybe towards $4. I'm thinking its a mid pair that is calling you down, but that queen makes it harder for a river call.
