Renton will become famous soon enough
First hand I would bet 20 on the river. MP has 99-QQ or AQ I think.

Second hand I would bet 12 on the river. The play up to that point was fine. He probably had a pair and a straight draw. Maybe QJ or something. He isn't gonna shutdown on the turn like that if he has QT, and he definitely isn't going to go for a c/r on the river with QT. If hes lagg he shouldn't have an Ace or KK/JJ/KJ, so that's a clear value bet opportunity on the river in my opinion. He prolly won't call though.

First hand depends on aggressiveness of Villain. Some would fold 88/99/JJ/QQ to a bet, but would bluff the Ace if you check. The size of the pot at the river is a good opportunity for an aggro Villain to make a potsized bluff.. Btw, AQ is going to bet anyway so checking is not losing money to it.

Second hand, make a small bet. Hands that beat you (2p) are not checking turn and river.

Bet both. In each case the turn was checked through. Looks like they were keeping you honest and/or on draws or a pair. I like 1/2 pot on each. You may elicit a call by a weaker hand and if they were slowplaying they would raise you and you can fold. I'm amazed at how many times I win uncontested or see a low pair in this spot. The reason I'm amazed is that line is very exploitable and they could bet me out of the pot if they are smart enough as I would play a stronger hand well..stronger.
