villain is 22/16/inf over 30 hands, im running 26/23/inf over the same.
ive 3bet 3 other times but havent shown anything down yet.
my questions. do i always want to bet the flop in a 3bet pot OOP when i have a peice? what about in position? ive been messing around with firing the turn smaller recently instead of shoving, is this as good a turn card as any to do this, or is this spew?

Flop is std. On turn I prefer a c/bomb. Betting sucks because you'll be getting almost 3:1 on a shove when you're no worse than a 2.5:1 dog. Checking will very often get you a free card and your outs are non-obvious.

Basically what Zook said. C/shoving the turn would be my line as well.

i dont really like the flop cbet. i mean that hits villains calling range fairly hard right?
zook, question about c/bombing. dont you think that if villain bets there is a huge chance he will call a jam? thus we have very little FE?

I agree that a c/r has very little fold equity but getting it in on this turn is ok against his range so if it has even a little (if he bet/folds AJ or AQ ever) it's good. But I think you're getting a free card most of the time.

i really thought about c/jam at the time but figured my FE was much higher double barrelling here and that if he bets hes priced in with pretty much anything. I guess i am priced in if i get shoved on, which i considered, but i agree that it gets checked through here alot. My justification to myself during the hand for betting was that im happy taking it down here so i dont have to show this down.

Your FE with c/jam doesn't have to be as high as it would be with double barreling to still be more profitable.

If this was just a raised pot, I like barelling here quite a bit. But since its a 3-bet pot,I think there's a much better chance we might get jammed on this turn, so I agree with zook that a check is decent.
If the turn gets checked through, I might even bluff the river if we miss as I think lots of J's are even in his range, and I'm not convinced he's that strong.
Betting river is player dependent though.
