Well I havent been a member here for very long, but I must have read every post written in the last 4 months. It was about 4 months ago when i decided to stop loosing money at poker and learn how to win at it. So I started by playing a game relative to my bankroll and started playing 10NL on Absolute. In the past 3 months Ive played a little over 23k hands and ran at 3.6 PT BB/100 Hands. It was today that I decided to move up to 25NL, and thats the reason for my post today. I played exactly 800 hands 4 tabling, and ran a little hot managing to make a little over 20 bucks, but I could have made a lot more if it wasnt for one poor decision.

This has happened to me a 100 times in 10NL and I guess the only reason I never posted then was because it happened so rarely, and it was usally only 6 bucks (I only buy in for 60BB), so I would just shrug it off and make it up again another hand. I do use ACE HUD and Pokertracker, and this person was running 53/6 over a measley 17 hands.

Always raise AQ preflop against limpers.

To be honest, Im kind of a nit playing a 13/6 game. Should it be in my range to be raising AQ out of position?

AQ is a huge hand, play it like one. you got 3-outed move on. QQ hand is fine.

Hand 2 is played fine. Don't be results oriented when it comes to these types of players. You are ahead here more often than not.

I'm not folding that against a 56/16, but I want to be sitting on his left.

1: Raise pre, possibly make a small blocking bet on river and instamuck to a raise
2: Fine, bad beat
3: Fairly marginal, I don't hate a fold at all though.

Don't stick half of you stack in and then fold. You only have to win 1 in 3 to BE.
Playing live . . . thanks alot Bin Laden.

Thanks for the help, espically with the AQ hand, i find i play very weak in the blinds and normally have no clue what to do. I have read some of the tutorials on this forum, and have been tightening up UTG and loosening up the closer I get to the button. Right now my Blind raising range is QQ, KK, AA and AK(if not already raised). What else should I be opening with?

1) raise preflop, probably fold turn
2) good
3) for god sakes dont fold now, you have to win like 1 in 7!!!
My bankroll is the amount of money I would spend or lose before I got a job. It is calculated by adding my net worth to whatever I can borrow.

I'd say against limpers raise 99+, AQ, AK at least.

reraise JJ+ and AK.
