Just getting started with shorthanded, and I find myself in some situations where I don't know the right play.
These are hands from a session I'm currently playing ..

Should I just flat call and look to hit my set with our deep stacks? That's what I normally would do but since this is SH I'm unsure..
Vallian was 37/14/2.7 over 80 hands ..

Why min-reraise preflop in hand 1?

If you're going to fold to a push in the river of hand 2, why not just check it? If he pushes then, you save yourself a bet, and if he bets a smaller amount you can consider calling.

The minbet is a mistake i meant to reraise small, but not that small..

The river bet is a blocking bet, if I check the river to me he could be taking it away with some kind of jack by betting 3/4 pot, if he had a jack I think he would just call, and if he had a 7 he would let me know as he did allowing me to fold .. Don't know if that makes sense[/code]
