Fold the flop. As played fold to the raise on the turn, you are ahead almost never.

so you are basicly playing for sets only? i should mention neither of these players are good. the minreraise on the flop scared me a little but his flop bet screamed please fold. then his turn bet felt like he was weak and then i flat called. when UTG pushes i felt like i had such good odds and we both had shown weakness i thought he could have been doing it on a pretty wide range.

tough spot
3 betting preflop does nothing but get messy, saying that mucking here isnt so bad imo. If our opp is bad enough to miniraise i think hes bad enough to pay JJJ so i guess calling is appropriate.
What do you think of the miniraise? If it suggests AK then id reraise the flop folding to anything else. I think calling here is a terrible option. We put money in on no information either well ahead or well behind. I odnt like how you played this but i take your point on how UTG played it. UTG may very well turn over soething like 88-TT perhaps even QQ here.
I think the turn is UTG bluffing as his bet makes no sense unless he smells weakness

jackvance is an unknown quantity at this point
Damn this is a sucky spot for you. You have no clue where you stand.. and it's unlikely you're ahead but it's hard to fold anywhere along the line too..

I probably fold the flop. At least fold the turn to a raise. I would be more inclined to call the flop if it was HU.

Fold preflop, fold flop fold turn.

EDIT... ok you have implied odds to play for a set here... barely.

OR (if CO is re-raising a wider range than JJ+)

re-raise pre-flop, hand plays itself.

Preflop - Looks alright to me if you know you're only playing for a set.
Flop - No J, you're looking to fold here unless you have a great read on your opponents betting patterns.
Turn - Fold

You're up against a set + an overpair most the time here.

Renton will become famous soon enough
I consider folding this preflop sometimes. You don't have anything invested at this point, and you aren't even up against full-buys.

I don't think you can call that flop bet against most players.

Renton you bring up a valid point, but I think that they have just enough to make it worthwhile to play for a set, expecting to get their whole stack if you do hit that set.

1/8 times you hit a set right?.

12 x 8 = $96 total

The one time you hit your set, expect to get paid their stack, so in the end they are making a profit.

But if you dont think you can get their stack, a fold is not a bad option at all..
