storm75m is an unknown quantity at this point
On the first hand, since you're holding the nuts, do you think a smaller turn bet may have encouraged more callers? Don't get me wrong, I like the hammer droppage going on there, but with that hand I don't fear too much. I'll prefer more people tagging along since everyone called the flop bet anyway... A weaker bet may have encouraged someone to come over the top of you as well, with such a big pot seemingly up for grabs... I would have bet like $9 - $12 or something, then drop it on the river. VNH though.
Lack of Discipline and Over-Confidence... The root of all poker evil.

I pretty much always bet into short stacks like that when I have a made hand. They call a surprisingly large amount of the time with often next to nothing - a pair or worse. Against another big or average stack I'd value bet or get tricky, but against these dipshits with less than half a buy-in, I'm just trying to get all their chips in the middle as quickly as possible. They call so much, it's actually surprising to me when one folds.

i like betting into short stack like that, too, dale. i just noticed that recently, but you're right, way too many calls there by them with inferior hands. i think everyone should try to learn when that play is appropriate because it does work.
In answer to your question... it depends...

So true. Shortstacks always think you're bluffing and they love to commit themselves to a pot with any piece of the board.

Or they are on tilt and welcome the opportunity to throw all of their chips if they hit a piece of the board...
