only been here for a few orbits. no specific reads. just your average SH NL game at the $10 level.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.10 BB (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

UTG ($13.35)
MP ($9.90)
CO ($6.75)
Button ($9.90)
Hero ($11.20)
BB ($13.15)

Preflop: Hero is SB with T, 7.
3 folds, Button calls $0.10, Hero completes, BB checks.

Flop: ($0.30) A, J, J (3 players)
Hero checks, BB checks, Button bets $0.1, Hero calls $0.10, BB folds.

Turn: ($0.50) 9 (2 players)
Hero checks, Button bets $0.4, Hero raises to $0.8, Button raises to $1.2, Hero calls $0.40.

River: ($2.90) 3 (2 players)
Hero checks, Button checks.

Final Pot: $2.90

do i usually miss value here by checking the river. i planned to check-call, but maybe should have led. the action on the turn made me queasy. i figured he was on a pair with maybe one spade, prolly higher than my T. i cant think he would have called a smallish bet, but i feel i still should have made one.

Villain just 3-bet you on the turn, so he could have a boat or a better flush here. So I think a check is fine on the river, you don't really wanna get raised too hard if you lead into him.

I don't really like the check min-raise on the turn though, if you're gonna raise it, raise it harder. If you're not gonna be confident with your flush, because of the board, then its probably better to just not call the flop bet.

Don't do the gay minraise plz, it just confuses you more than anything b/c now you dont know why he min RR you.

I'd still value bet river as played.
Nine to five is how to survive - I ain't trying to survive / I'm trying to live it to the limit and love it a lot //

Can offer RB deals on most sites, PM me.

i agree with the min-raise crap. its an experiment i have been running against low-level donks. it has become a way to sweeten the pot, and buy a hand with minimal risk. very few, at these levels, will play back at you solely because of the min-raise like you will find at higher levels.

i will do it now, too, on a ragged flop when i hit my set and suspect the villain is overplaying AK or big pockets.

i hate it as a move, but at weak levels with weak tables...it works!

thanks for the input. i figured on the turn, there was a lot that beat me out there, but the min-reraise threw me. i know i initiated the crappy play, but i felt i should slow down when he did it back.
