goodtreep PFR is 28% and AF78(!) generally makes bad plays.

I called preflop with position and flop simply for the pot odds. The insta-minraise that fish so commonly do with strong hands scared me a little but not enough to make me fold so instead I push, is this bad/wrong?

I would never call this pre. I would fold to the flop bet and probably just call his min raise and try to get to showdown cheap. I don't have any experience at these stakes though so I dunno how crazy people are. The shove might be ok.
The key is folding preflop for me.

why? he is an aggro fish so usually calling with anything is +EV. his PFR% is quite large and its only 3bbs. we also have button and a suited one gapper. calling here is really a leak??

you want to play SC's and SG's for the most part in limped multiway pots, not to a single raise. Those hands are all about implied odds and against a single raiser you usually dont have them so folding preflop should be the default play here.

I have found the best and most profitable way to play fish is to always be the aggressor by opening or 3 betting. Try 3 betting the top half of his positionally adjusted opening range and watch him spew his stack to you.

ok well thanks. I'll consider folding similar hands in those situations in future (esp. when i play my normal stakes).
here's what happened:
*** RIVER *** [6s 7d Ah 4c] [8c]
*** SHOW DOWN ***
goodtreep: shows [Ad Ac] (three of a kind, Aces)
TheManners: mucks hand
goodtreep collected $5.78 from pot
*** SUMMARY ***
Total pot $6.08 | Rake $0.30
Board [6s 7d Ah 4c 8c]
Seat 1: ixidixi (button) folded before Flop (didn't bet)
Seat 2: lizardkings (small blind) folded on the Flop
Seat 3: OldePaddy (big blind) folded before Flop
Seat 4: Necrmonate folded before Flop (didn't bet)
Seat 5: goodtreep showed [Ad Ac] and won ($5.78) with three of a kind, Aces
Seat 6: TheManners mucked [4h 6h]
I had him on AK-AT and i was almost 90% sure until I got insta min raised. Then, I was a bit worried. I think I played badly here, I should've used instinct and just called and seen a cheap showdown.
I guess I got greedy.
