I'm interested in hearing how others play flush draws when OOP. My default line is to build the pot in the event that I make my flush. Also, I think leading does provide some deception to my hand and being the aggressor has some degree of inducing better hands to fold...

Assume the following: $50NL 6-max, your opponents are the usual tight/passives and loose/passives. Stack sizes are roughly equal.

Hero is in SB with T9s

Preflop: 2 limpers, Hero completes, BB checks

Flop: X X X with 2 of Hero's suit
Hero bets pot, 2 callers

Turn: X (not Hero's suit & doesn't noticably help the board)
Hero bets 3/4 pot, 1 caller

River: X (brick)
Hero checks, Villian bets 1/2 pot, Hero folds...

Your line(s) please?

your line is fine. its annoying to have to check fold, but its usually the best thing to do.

i would raise preflop though.

Gabe you need to hit us with your six max guide.

Is leading with a flush draw even decptive? Not saying you shouldn't do it... but you are either getting ignored by a moron playing his hand not yours, or someone who has maybe heard of betting draws and fold equity.

leading with a flush draw is ONLY deceptive when you balance it well with air/middle pair/monsters.

A lot of poor 6max players think leading oop especially in a raised pot is clever. It isnt its actually a huge advertisement of their hand. Especially when they dont balance it well. PT helps here.
I like the lead line but dont just bet ur draws like this.
